Al-Yassiri: The work of our field investigative teams resulted in the referral of more than 30 major cases to the court

CoI commissioner Dr. Hassan Al-Yassiri confirmed on Tuesday 31/1/2017 that the work of CoI field investigative and audit teams resulted in referring of 31 criminal cases to the court in which judiciary issued tens of arrest and summon orders against senior officials in these institutions.

Al-Yassiri mentioned during the press conference of announcing CoI annual report of 2016 that the work of these teams included Ministries of Justice, Agriculture, Health and Trade Bank of Iraq as well as forming a mobile inspection secret teams in Ministries of Transportations, Finance, Industry and Minerals, Emigration, Education and Construction and Housing beside Political and Prisoners Foundation to monitor the performance of 46 offices in these ministries to ascertain the level of services delivered to citizens by  134 inspection visits carried out by the teams above mentioned.
